Abdellatif Hamrouni is a Tunisian stage and film actor, who appeared in several Tunisian and international films filmed in his home country, since mid 1970s up to mid 1990s. In the first group, including some Tunisian classics, it is worth mentioning at least Sejnane (Abdellatif Ben Ammar, 1974) and L’Ombre de la terre (Dhil al Ardh) by Taieb Louhichi (1982); in the second, Jerry Schatzberg’s Misunderstood (1984), and Anthony Minghella’s The English Patient (1996), his very last title.
He appeared also in three Italian co-productions, namely Il Messia (The Messiah) by Roberto Rossellini, in which also starred Raouf Ben Amor, Hedi Zoughlami, Raouf Ben Yaghlane, Fadhel Jaziri, Moncef Ben Yahia, just to mention a few other actors. Erotic drama Scirocco (Sahara Heat), featured also Nadia Saiji and Ridha Zouari. Finally, TV movie Un bambino di nome Gesù (A Child Called Jesus) cast also Hichem Rostom, Fethi Haddaoui, Martine Gafsi, Kamel Alaoui, Hélène Katzaras and Nouri Bouzid.
