Yann Gael (Yann-Gaël Elléouet)

Yann Gael is a French actor. Born in Camerun in 1986 as Yann-Gaël Elléouet, he grew up in France, notably in Crozon peninsula, at Les Ulis, at Villiers-Le-Bel and at Besançon.
After attending Cours Florent drama school, he joined the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts (CNSAD). He was still a student when he was offered the role of lead in a theatrical production based on the character of Rafael Padilla de Leios aka Chocolat, black clown, to be performed by Omar Sy in a feature film directed by Roschdy Zem in 2016.
In 2014, he played the role of a policeman in the TV series Duel au soleil (Duel in the Sun), broadcast on France 2, in tandem with Gerard Darmon. In France he joined about several productions for the theater, the big and the small screen, before being chosen to play the role of Ben Wade, a Senegal-born irregular migrant in Italy with a talent for boxing, in Italian TV movie Il coraggio di vincere (The Courage to Win). Directed by Marco Pontecorvo, son of Gillo Pontecorvo, Il coraggio di vincere was broadcasted on RAI 1 on April 7, 2017.
