Mahmoud Farag is an Egyptian actor, who starred in more than fifty Egyptian feature films and TV series from mid 1950s through early 1990s. His first film was Ayyamna al-Helwa aka Our Best Days by Helmy Halim in 1955, starring Omar Sharif and Faten Hamama.

His only presence in the Italian Filmography is for Il figlio di Cleopatra aka Son of Cleopatra, a peplum film by Ferdinando Baldi co-produced by Egypt and also starring a few other Egyptian actors of the period, namely Samira Ahmed, Shukry Sarhan, Leila Fawzi, Yehia Chahine, Hasan Youssef and Abdel Khalek Saleh. He played the role of Tarok.
